Working Hours – 37.5 hours,Flexible – 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of 11 schools.
Every day our employees help to create high-quality learning environments - ensuring they are safe, clean, and compliant for teachers to inspire and where students can gain meaningful skills and qualifications.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with the help desk team logging tasks for the site teams
- Answering any telephone enquiries
- Responding to emails from the shared inbox
- Placing orders for goods
- Issuing work instructions for subcontractors
- Updating training information for site teams
- Maintaining stationary stock for the office
- Joining teams calls with Premises Managers to collate any information relating to helpdesk tasks.
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. You will be fully supported by our partnered college to achieve this qualification by attending college 1-day per week, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
We want to hear from you if you have:Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally and have the Enthusiasm to be part of a high performing team and a drive for success. You will have Minimum 2 GCSE’s (or equivalent) Grade A*-C. Must include Maths and English and Available to join the programme in September 2023. In addition to this, it would be desirable if you are on track for gaining your driving licence. Please note clearance check will be required if you are successful in your application.
